The classic, glossy deep green foliage of 'Burgundy Red' is the perfect foil for its deep wine-red plums of fluffy flowers. A large group of elegant and beautiful perennials that are also hardy and dependable.  Astilbes require lots of moisture in full sun but less in shaded areas and perform best in moist, partial shade.  Excellent with Hosta, Bergenia, Siberian and Japanese Iris.  Good near water.  Most effective in masses.  Remove faded blooms.
